Water Damage – Bay City Commercial Kitchen
Water damage struck this Bay City commercial kitchen when a frozen pipe burst. The definition of which is to “fly apart suddenly or violently, especially from internal pressure”. That is a very accurate description of what happened. Thousands of gallons of water poured through this facility during the night. When employees reported for work the next morning, they discovered an enormous water damage cleanup job staring at them. They didn’t have enough floor mops, so SERVPRO of Bay City was called to bring in their commercial water damage restoration equipment. We extracted the water and removed the damaged ceiling. The before picture shows the severe bubbling that occurred. We also had water damage and electrical wiring close to each other. The commercial drying equipment corrected part of this problem. The remainder was repaired or replaced by licensed electricians. You can see in the after photo that all went well, and business resumed ahead of the target date to finish the project.
